Meet your guide in the parking lot of Hoss's Steak and Sea House (located directly across from the PA Turnpike Exit 146 Bedford, PA along Business Route 220).

9:45am

A stop at a Mennonite owned store where you will have an opportunity to purchase bulk packaged foods, candies and spices. Receive a treat at this location.

"Home of the Peanut Butter Meltaway" ... we'll travel to Tyrone, PA where you'll then tour either the Gardner's Candies Factory or Museum (tours are not always available through the factory) and receive one of their famous "peanutbutter meltaways" candy bar. A shopping opportunity will be offered before continuing the tour.

"No Wine is Served Before Its Time" ... stop at the Oak Springs Winery and learn about their award winning wines and the wine making process. Samples will be offered at the end of the tour and then receive a gift.

"The Home of the Mallo Cup" ... the Boyer Candy Company will be the next stop. While no tour is offered through the factory you can purchase their sweets in the discount store while enjoying free samples of Mallow Cups or Peanut Butter Smoothies.

Get that sweet taste out of your mouth! "Pennysticks" and other pretzels will be offered at the Benzel Factory in Altoona, PA.

Another treet ... a small cone of ice cream from the first and original "frozen custard" stand near Duncansville (owned by the Meadows family).

"Shop 'Till You Drop" ... the final stop will be at the Antique Depot in Duncansville, PA. Several hundred consignment booths will offer lots of opportunities to browse; reminisce about the past; and make purchases.

"They Come Down the Stairs in Pairs" ... as you board the motorcoach, you will be given a "Slinky" manufactured in the neighboring community, Hollidaysburg, PA.

Depart for home, leaving your guide off at the original pickup point, Hoss's Steak and Sea House.
