Learn why Altoona and the Pennsylvania Railroad became known throughout the world as the place where anything could be made. Arrive at the Altoona Railroaders Museum, three floors of railroading history depicting the life and times of the people of Altoona, PA.

All aboard ... a regularly scheduled Amtrak passenger train and enjoy a relaxing ride around the "World Famous" Horseshoe Curve. Learn about history along the route; including the Gallitzin Tunnels and the South Fork Hunting and Fishing Club Dam (which broke causing the Johnstown Flood).

Visit the Johnstown Flood Museum and view the Academy Award Winning documentary depicting the May 31, 1889 great flood. See the many displays.

Take a riding tour of downtown Johnstown, PA and then ride the worlds steepest vehicular incline plane. See Grandview Cemetery and the site where over 700 unknowns from the Johnstown Flood are memorialized.

Depart for home traveling past Windber where you will learn about the areas coal mining heritage. Your guide will depart at the original pickup point, Hoss's Steak and Sea House in Bedford, PA.
