This tour will take visitors into the beautiful Laurel Highlands and then to the disastrous crash site of Flight 93 (September 11, 2001) and the Flight 93 Memorial Chapel. After visiting several other attractions the group will journey to the Que Creek Mine site to hear the triumphful story of how the nine trapped miners were rescued.

Meet your guide in the parking lot of Hoss's Steak and Sea House (located directly across from the PA Turnpike Exit 146 Bedford, PA along Business Route 220).

| 9:30 am | Learn about early transportation as you travel the Lincoln Highway and view numerous historical sites along the route.
|
|
| 10 am | Arrive at Shanksville and the Flight 93 crash site. You will be greeted by a Goodwill Ambassador who will provide facts about the fateful September 11th event and view the temporary memorial. Your guide will update you on the plans for a more permanent tribute. | |

| 1:45 pm | A sip of wine (free taste samples) will be in order as you visit the Glade Pike Winery. The local vineyards have produced some prize winning wines and these are available for purchase if you so desire.

| 2:45 pm | Hear the first hand accounts of the miraculous rescue of nine men trapped in a flooded mine and see the rescue site. See the actual rescue shaft and award winning sculpture while learning about future plans for a Memorial Park. | |
