Welcome to Friendship Village Campground and RV Park located in beautiful Bedford County, PA. Here in this picturesque countryside, the British built a fort to withstand Indian raids. Today, campers come to visit the nearby Fort and also to relax in a place where life moves along at a slower pace. The campground has a family oriented atmosphere and activities. It provides excellent facilities for campers in tents as well as big rigs. Come and stay with us and visit area attractions.

    Family Night. - Hay rides at 6 PM. Family activity following hayride.

    Welcome Weekend: 6pm
    White Elephant Sale. Bring a $10 NEW item for the sale and get one night camping free. Proceeds go to Fellowship Ministries.

    May 9
    Mothers Day Weekend: 10am
    Ladies Tea Party Fancy hat contest. Brunch and planter to all ladies who attend. Bring a fancy hat and a teacup. 1pm: Kids Mother's Day activity.

    Yard Sale / Crafts / Flea Market: 9am-4pm

    Strawberry Festival: 12noon-3pm
    $4.00 per person. First-come-first-serve! Antique tractor show and parade. Bring your tractor and get one night free camping this weekend. (with 2 night minimum)

    Great American Campout
    Our version of the Amazing Race. Wear comfortable shoes!

    June 20
    Father's Day
    Pancake & Sausage Breakfast:
    9-10am

    Dads eat free! $4.50 per person Reservations required and limited! 11am - Father and child matchbox car race. Bring your favorite car or buy one at our store.

    June 27
    Friendship Village Kids' Olympics: 10am-2pm
    Kids ages 5-14 compete for Gold, Silver and Bronze medals. Lunch is provided for all participants at no charge and may be purchased by spectators for a minimal fee.

    July 4
    Tie Dye Day: 10am
    White Friendship Village T-shirts will be available to purchase in the office or bring your own articles of choice.

    July 11
    Country Western Pig Roast : 5pm
    Join us for a pig roast. $7.50 includes baked potato, dressing and baked beans. Stick horse races and western activities. Country western outfits encouraged. Reservations required and limited.

    July 13-18
    Christmas in July
    Decorate your campsite and vote for your favorite. Prize will be awarded on Saturday.

    July 26- Aug 1st
    Bedford County Fair Week
    The Bedford County Fair features livestock, rides, food and entertainment. Pay one price admission.

    Fishing Contest (for Ages 5-14)

    Stocked, tagged fish, in addition to our own fish. Categories by age groups. Prizes for smallest, largest and most caught.
    *** Catch and Release. No Boats, No barbed or 3-prong hooks. Judges will be on-hand. *** 

    August 10-14
    Christian Camp Meeting
    Mon-Fri Children ages 5-10: VBS at 10am
    Wed-Fri: Adult Bible Study at 10am
    Wed-Fri: Evening Gospel Sings at 7pm

    August 15
    Gospel Celebration - Groups: 4pm-?
    "The Jacob's Brothers", "Fellowship Quartet", "Promised Land", "Greater Love " and "Curtis Hyler and Jubilation"

    Discount tickets available

    August 29
    Football Week
    Cheer on your favorite team by wearing your jersey and decorating your campsite with your team colors. Prizes will be awarded.
    12noon-1pm - Chili-cook-off in the Friendship Center. Bring your favorite pot of chili to be judged. Prizes will be awarded at 1:30pm.

    Classic Car Show (12-4), Chicken BBQ (12-4 / First Come First Serve), Sock Hop (7:30pm-10pm) Bring your classic car and get one night free camping (2 night minimum.)

    Shrimp Boil and Ice Cream Bar: 1PM, 3PM and 5PM settings
    Complete meal provided. $9.50 per person Reservations required and limited.

    September 26
    Harvest Weekend
    Come join the fun of harvest, decorate pumpkins, make scarecrows, dive in haystack for surprises, hayrides, etc. Children 12 and under $1.50 each.

    Bedford's Annual Fall Foliage Festival Weekends
    Festival in downtown Bedford. Over 400 craft vendors.

    October 17
    Apple/Craft Festival: 10am-4pm
    Enjoy fresh cider made on premises, watch apple butter boil in the big black kettle, and enjoy old fashioned apple dumplings. Buy or sell crafts. Craft tables available in clubhouse and barn - $5.00 a table
