Flat Land Farm Ride
Miles: 18.9 or 9.7
Rating: Very Easy (both)
Quiet ride through the farms in the shadows of the mountains of Bedford County. Great for tandems, and family with children, on bikes or in buggers.

These two rides are on the flattest land we could find in Bedford County. The routes loop through the farms of Colerain Township affording great views of the mountains around, Tussey to the east and Wills Mountain to the west. The longer loop goes into Rainsburg, where you can see the abandoned Seminary. There are no stores in this area, so you will need to bring everything with you.

The ride starts and stops at the Trans Run Methodist Church. To get there from Bedford, head east on Rt. 30, just before the Narrows bridge, go south 4.6 miles on Rt. 326, the church is on the left a half mile past the Sportsman's Lake.
